Social Area

The School of Literature and Linguistics offers its students a complete and balanced curriculum between academic studies and professional career,so that they will be able to understand Linguistic and Literary phenomena as something in permanent evolution,and likewise,perform teaching duties at university levels. It provides knowledge about the structure and workings of Spanish and native (Quechua,Aymara) languages,as well as literary works with a critical, creative and a scientific spirit.

Objectives

  • To prepare for the investigation of Spanish and native national languages.
  • To prepare for linguistic and literary investigation.
  • To operate means and conceptual instrumentation in approaching literary works.

Occupational Field

Teaching in universities,institutes of higher education and academies. Investigations in linguistic and educational planning.Promoting cultural animation, consulting, editing style, writing and related activities.

Duration, Degrees and Diplomas

  • Duration: 5 years.
  • Academic Degree: Bachelor of Science in Literature and Linguistics.
  • Professional Diploma in Literature and Linguistics.
